How trackle works
The trackle sensor measures your core body temperature while you sleep. To do this, the sensor is inserted vaginally before going to bed, similar to a tampon. There, it regularly measures your core body temperature and stores it – it does not establish any radio connection.
When placed in the storage box the next morning, the sensor transmits your basal temperature to our backend. With the help of your cervical mucus information, your fertility status is then determined precisely according to the rules of the symptothermal method, and the information is displayed on your trackle app. So, you can see at any time whether today is a fertile day or not.
How does trackle evaluate?
trackle calculates your fertility status according to the rules of the symptothermal method and displays whether today is a fertile day or not on a daily basis.
The symptothermal method combines the observation of basal body temperature and cervical mucus for cycle evaluation based on the principle of double control, making it particularly suitable for safe and hormone-free contraception.
How the trackle app works

Fertile days quickly recognized
The trackle app shows you whether you are currently fertile or not. On the home screen of the trackle app, you can see the fertility status of the current day, predictions for ovulation, and the next menstruation. The red-colored area represents the time of your menstruation. The turquoise period indicates the fertile days. And what is gray shows you the infertile time. At the beginning of the cycle, you see predictions. As the cycle progresses, it is adjusted daily.

Tracking and understanding your cycle
In the purple tab, the calendar, it's your turn: in addition to the automatically transferred temperature values, you enter your other cycle observations here: cervical mucus, menstrual bleeding - and anything else that seems noteworthy for your own body logbook. In retrospect, you will surely notice quite different connections: Always headaches around ovulation? Bad mood due to PMS? Hair looks great - must be the first half of the cycle.

Prevent or fulfill the desire to have children - absolutely certain
With the reliable information of whether today is a fertile day or not, you can make your own decisions. Do you want to use trackle for contraception and not become pregnant in this cycle? Then you should use an additional contraceptive method on fertile days or abstain. Do you want to fulfill a desire to have children? Then you should know exactly what is happening in your body and when, in order to catch the right moment.
This is how you recognize that the service life of your trackle is coming to an end:

Just in time before your sensor reaches the end of its service life, an orange battery symbol will appear on the yellow tab in your trackle app. Next to it, you can see the minimum remaining battery life of your sensor. You will also find a personalized code that you can use to buy a new trackle.

Seven days before the end of your trackle's lifespan, you will see the symbol of a red battery in your trackle app. You will be shown a date on which your sensor's runtime ends. Also, you will find an individual code there that you can use for reordering.

If a gray battery appears on the yellow tab of your trackle app, it means that the lifespan of your sensor has expired. Additionally, you will find information about the date when your trackle runtime has expired. There, you will also find an individual code that you can use for reordering.
